A must see show this Midsumma Festival is Little Culture Company’s Boylesque: Up Close and Personal.. For those of you too stupid to understand a neoligism when its sweaty balls are slapping you right in the face, ‘Boylseque’ is an all male burlesque review. Featuring a mix of Australian and American contemporary/classic dancers and Melbourne's very own Mr Burlesque 2012, Raven. Are they hot? Sure? Can they dance real sexy like? You bet. Is this a hussy’d up strip show? Not at all.
Boylesque is overflowing with real talent. If you get a boner from this show, it will be a talent boner, because the cast of Boylesque is like, super talented. Boylesque describes itself as an exploration of the male art of striptease, which it is, it’s also much more is all. Boylesque is a cheeky contemporary performance piece that will entertain those from all walks of life.
Boylesque, Up Close and Personal is on at the Butterfly Club (Carson place) and their next performance is tomorrow evening with additional shows this Friday the 24th and the following weekend. Little Culture Company is also running a show “Gentlemen of a Particular Persuasion” at the Greyhound. Click on the link for more details.
