WHAT: Melbourne Arts Club has a new home and that home is in Preston. Launching the space with SHOOT an open-call out photography exhibition on Friday 10 April.
WHERE: Melbourne Arts Club Gallery and Studio, 1/176 High Street Preston, corner of Bell Street.
WHEN: SHOOT opened 10 April 6pm - 10pm. The exhibition runs from 11 April - 30 April. 11am - 4 pm Thurs - Sat.
WHO: Nina O’Brien, Sharon Russell, Kate Molenkamp, Blake Creighton, Orlagh Ní Arrachtáin, Ariel Cameron, Callum Andrews, Clare Steele, Ron See, Tim Munro, Phillip Sale, Esther Buttery, Kym Beeston, Kristoffer Paulsen, Greta Parry, Justine McArthur, Tajette O'Halloran, Dinda Advena, Marijana Vanevski, Eliza Bell, Narlee, Phoebe Wynne, Danny Presser, Bambi Johnson, J Forsyth, Natasha Kelly, Clara Bradley, Stefan Arambasic.
WHY: Melbourne Arts Club has opened two art galleries, an arts project space and a shared studio/office, as well as housing Good Day Rental’s growing vintage and retro furniture hire collection, these two emerging small businesses have joined forces to inhabit a large space on the corner of High and Bell Streets.
SHOOT is the final part in the series DRAW, BUILD, PAINT, SCREEN, SHOOT a zine will be produced of the series, then the series will begin again showing at the popup space.
