On going bits and bobs

Check out new art in the city's lane ways. Now it is boasting even more vibrant colour after more than 250 artists from all over Australia met this month to fill the city with fresh art.The event was organised by local graffiti artist Duke Grimo and Adrian Doyle, who runs the Melbourne Street Art tours.

Film: Spanish Film Festival - The Spanish Film Festival is on all week. Check out a film and maybe a Q&A sesh at one of the four host cinemas. On until May 1.

Visual Art: Blindside presents [Re]Solve. An exhibition curated by Kali Michailidis exploring duration and temporality as the artists work develops and reaches different stages. Artists include Phil Ferguson, Gabrielle New, Nicole Voevodin-Cash and Oliver Huchinson. 20 - 30 April. [CBD]

Visual Art: Bus Projects - Something Immeasurably Better - bringing the work of Deb Mansfield and Kylie Banyard together for the first time. Exhibition duration: 27 April – 14 May 2016. Opening event tonight 6-8PM. [Collingwood]

Theatre: Theatre Works - Bright World. Nearly eighty after WWII, two playwrights come together on page and stage to explore the legacy of their ancestors in a unique cross-cultural collaboration. Tickets: $26 - $30. 8pm. [St Kilda]
