Spanish Film Festival: It's closing night of the 2016 Spanish Film Festivals, and the closing night event is afternoon screenings of the Oscar nominated film 'Embrace Of The Serpent'. 7UP Launch: celebrate the launch of the 7UP gallery space with exhibitions by Clare Peake, David Attwood, Madeleine Thornton-Smith, Will Heathcote, and Kristen Coleman. [Fitzroy]
MicroLandscapes: Perth-based dance and media artist Emma Fishwick transforms the main hall within the Northcote Town Hall with microLandscapes, an immersive 360-degree exploration of distance and perception, and their effects on landscape. Part of the 2016 Next Wave festival. [Northcote]
Borders, Barriers, Walls (Opening event): a group exhibition featuring artists from Australia and overseas. The exhibition will be accompanied by a catalogue featuring commissioned essays including one from Professor Gillian Triffs, President of the Australian Human Rights Commission.
