No Vacancy Gallery x Just Another Agency: Opening night for Outside The Box, an exhibition featuring 100 Australian based artists. Exhibition runs 3-28th October, Opening night 28th October 6-9pm. [CBD]

Magnet Galleries: Opening night for Another World, an all-woman photography group show, raising funds for ONE GIRL, an organisation dedicated to enabling girls in Africa to access education. From 6pm [CBD]

Neon Parlour: Opening night for Death Majestic by Natalie Mather, 6-8pm. [Thornbury]

Gertrude Contemporary: Opening night for Gertrude Studios 2016, a group exhibition featuring new works and projects by all sixteen current Gertrude Studio Artists. 6-8pm [Fitzroy]

Brunswick Street Gallery: New exhibitions opening, featuring solo shows from Colin Staples, Sarah Mifsud, Robin Warren, Benita Murray, Gavin Vitullo, Rachel Gresswell, and Tracy Lewis. 6-9pm. [Fitzroy]

Kings ARI: Opening night for new group show The Lunchroom, the Front Space will be transformed into a functioning lunchroom replete with kettle, microwave and water cooler for the public to come and take their lunch. Simultaneously The Lunchroom will host an exhibition of five artist’s works that poetically and critically reflect on social space, to think through the way it is formed and enacted. 6-8pm [CBD]

The Nook Gallery & Commonfolk: Makers' Market, with stallholders ranging from homewares, illustration, jewellery, ceramics, leather goods, plants, coffee and food, plus open studios, coffee tastings, and demos. 9am - 3pm. [Mornington]
