Melbourne Music Week  and I.P.F. 2016 starts this week. Dang, this time of year is oh so sweet! The sun starts shinning (kinda) then we had Fringe Festival, then Melbourne Festival now Music Week & I.P.F. The only thing better would be if Hillary wins! Amirite?!

Wednesday 9 November:

Thursday 10 November:

Arc One Gallery: Opening night for Wetlandschaft by Peter Daverington, an exhibition featuring contemporary surrealist landscape paintings. 6-9pm [CBD]

Friday 11 November:

Neon Parlour: Katherine Bowman and Eddy Carroll open "These things now for my companions..." from 6-9pm. [Thornbury]

Boom Gallery: Peta Armstrong opens Temper The Dawn and Ren Inei opens Circle Geelong, plus an illustration group show, Pencil Pushers, from 5:30pm. [Newtown]

Anna Pappas Gallery: Yuria Okamura’s Forms and Diagrams (For Harmonic Ideals) and Paul Williams' Stone Rivulet, from 6-9pm. [Prahran]

Brunswick St Gallery: annual design exhibition Render 2016 opens alongside Sophie Suttor's solo exhibition, from 6-9pm. [Fitzroy]

ARTLAND: RMIT students transform the Brunswick campus for their annual outdoor art show. This is always a fun and interesting show. Runs until December 11. 5:30 - 7:30pm. [Brunswick]

CAVES: Echo by Rudi Williams opens from 6pm. [CBD]

Off the Kerb: Twoism by Mitch, In Pain by Ramak Bamzar, Explorations in Ink by Naomi Waller, Colour Bent by The Ink Draw, from 6-9pm. [Collingwood]

Saturday 12 November:

The Nook Gallery: Opening night for Regeneration, a photographic exhibition by Tash Carah, 6-9pm. [Mornington]

Mornington Peninsula Regional Gallery: On the M.A.P. open gallery featuring 13 studios and artists, plus food, wine & coffee! Bring the kids! 10am - 4pm. [Mornington Peninsula]

Immerse Exhibition: Opening night for one of the largest and innovative exhibition programs in Australia. Including artist Aleesha Barton, who is exhibiting at The Chocolate Dragonfly Cafe in The Basin, from 7:30pm. [Ferntree Gully]

Duldig Studios: open studio and garden on the second Saturday of each month. 1-3pm. [Malvern East]

Monday 14 November:

Allpress Studios: Make Money, Not Morals by Christopher Jewitt opens from 6-9pm, one night only! [Collingwood]
