Art + Climate = Change 2017

Back for another year, these events aim to promote and better understand the world that we call home. There are a lot of dumb dumbs out there who think climate change is fake. Good thing there are educated people like yourselves to fight back!

Thursday 20 April

Arc One Gallery: opens Murray Frederick's photographic exhibition, Vanity, from 6-9pm. [CBD]

Counihan Gallery: Flow, a group show touching on the importance of motion, matter, and energy opens from 6pm. [Brunswick]


Friday 21 April

Off the Kerb Gallery: some of our favourite art babes are having a big birthday! 1o years of amazing exhibitions and contributions to Melbourne's art community. To celebrate the occasion OTK Gallery will be donating all proceeds to Red Dust Australia, who support the health of Indigenous Australians in remote communities, www.reddust.org.au. Check out this epic group show from 6-9pm. [Collingwood]

Brunswick St Gallery: solo exhibitions, Karla Andreica's I Am, Ferney Caro's Reflex, Russell Curr's Journeys Through Transient Landscapes, John Mandich with Julian Centofanti's A Glimpse At Beauty, plus two group shows to sink your teeth into. Opening from 6pm. [Fitzroy]

Saturday 22 April

Sutton Gallery: Raafat Ishak opens Hebdomeros, in collaboration with Damiano Bertoli, from 4-6pm. [Fitzroy]

Station Gallery: Michael Staniak opens Guidance, from 4-6pm. [South Yarra]

Dog Photog: EEEEPPPP!!! Puppies! Get your K9 pal down to Enough Space in Prahran and get them the photoshoot they deserve! Running until Sunday 23 April, with an added day on 29 April in Northcote.

MARS Gallery: Penelope Davis, Joanne Mott and Robert Hague will be giving talks about their current exhibition, from 4pm. [Windsor]
