Melbourne Writers Festival Continues, I am too lazy to list all the great things, you will have to do your own research.

Fawn Gallery is still accepting submissions for Small Works, if its small, arty and not stolen then enter it, its rude not too.

THURSDAY 28 AUGUST

The Nicholas Building open house is here again, wander the building and talk to the artists and makers from 4 pm until 9pm.

The Just Us Launch Party will kick off at 7.30 at Luwow in Fitzroy.  The party is to celebrate the upcoming Fringe show, tickets through the Facebook page.

FRIDAY 29 AUGUST

The Nicholas Building open house continues, wander the building and talk to the artists and makers from 4 pm until 9pm.

House of Bricks opens Human fire from 6pm - 9pm

Conduit Arts hosts Welcome to Black Canyon print exhibition and publication launch from 6pm.

The Canary Press is letting us into their bunker for the Issue Five Bonanza.  Check Facebook for launch details and their website for more on the publication.  The Canary Press are offering a discount subscription to uni students at the mo, so get to it poor students, offer ends soon.

SATURDAY 30 AUGUST

The Block Party against hate  is a celebration of everything inclusive about Australia. So if you want to feel the love and have some time in the arvo, get down to St Patricks hall.

Kings ARI is hosting Superfictions 1: The Art Fair Murders by Peter Hill from 4pm, this sounds weird and wonderful, check out the Facebook page.

Black Arts Projects and Lucas Maddock Present New Hypothetical Continents from 2pm - 4pm.

Fashion on film, presented as part of the cultural program of Melbourne Spring Fashion Week is playing at ACMI at 6.30pm TICKETS YO!
