'Leftovers'  Sanné Mestrom at the RMIT Project Space/Spare Room [CBD] tickets here

'Stacks On' at No Vacancy Project Space [CBD] 6pm - 9pm. This exhibition celebrates the launch of Stacks On: publisher of short run zines and limited edition products. The exhibition showcases previous and upcoming collaborators including Andy Johnson, Carla McRae, Cat Rabbit, Ghostpatrol, Magda Ksiezak, Robert Bowers and The Seven Seas.

Launching 6pm - 8pm at the City Library Gallery, 'Playful' features 18 Australian and international artists with works in soft sculpture, ceramics, textile, toy design and animation.

'From the Western Desert' opening at James Makin Gallery [Collingwood] 6pm - 8pm

Noah Taylor's solo exhibition opens at Lindberg Galleries [Collingwood] 6pm - 8pm

'2006/2016, a 10 year celebration' at Neon Parc 6pm - 8pm. This is Neon Parc's 10th aniversary,  featuring artists; Colleen Ahern, Dan Arps, Damiano Bertoli, Trevelyn Clay, Dale Frank, Irene Hanenbergh, Katherine Huang, Josey Kidd Crowe, The Kingpins, Paul Knight, James Lynch, Burchill / McCamley, Rob McLeish, Viv Miller, Elizabeth Newman, Elizabeth Pulie, Stuart Ringholt, Noël Skrzypczak, John Spiteri, Darren Sylvester, Paul Yore.

Katie Lee 2006 - 2016 drawings exhibition opening at Schoolhouse Studios from 6pm. Exhibition runs from 7 - 28 April.

'THE WILD' Off the Kerb's 9th Birthday Exhibition raising money for Edgar's Mission. Opening night from 6pm - 9pm, show running until 21 April. More info on 'The Wild' in our article.

Women, Art, and Politics talk at FCAC from 3pm, tickets avalable. Later at 5.30pm 'Women, Art, and Politics: What is a woman artist?' exhibition featuring Jessie Deane, Megan Cope, Ok-Hean Chang, Kirsten Lyttle and Baby Guerrilla.

Twenty Nine Feeling Fine, an exhibition at by four artist friends reflecting on the imminent end of their 20s in a multi media exhibition at Yonder Art Space [Yarraville] 6pm - 8pm.

Saturday 9 April

'Lacuna' new works by Josh Fartch opening at Tinning Street Presents 2pm - 5pm
Dark Side of the Docks at the Food Court, [Docklands]. From 5pm - 1am, Dark Side of the Docks is an analogue photography exhibition put together by several artists discovering the magic effects of the darkroom.
Performance at Conduit Arts by Jenny Barnes and Carolyn Connors from 8.00pm. $10 at the door and bar will be open. [Fitzroy]

Sunday 10 April

'Makers Meet' at Thornbury Bowls Club from 10pm - 5pm ANAM Collective, Seth Searle, POP CRAFT STUDIO, Plant B. Thornbury, John Brooks, Trism, Jacqueline's Honey, Bec Smith, Florence, Bette Brain & A.M. ASSEMBLY. No Eftpos Facilities. Bar open from 12pm.

Monday 11 April

Melbourne Queer Film Festival Continues with screenings of 'Downriver' at 8.30pm and Grandma at 8pm. Tickets through the MQFF site

'Zines and Multiples' second year BVA exhibition at Batch Gallery, Caulfield East.

Wednesday 13 April

Tatjana Este, Elyss McCleary, Teelah George exhibitions open at Rubicon ARI from 6pm.
