Next Wave Festival 2016. Australia’s biennial festival of the new generation in art. Next Wave Festival 2016 will see 37 world premiere works featured across in Melbourne, Thursday 5 until Sunday 22 May, there is sooooo much to see so check out their website and pick your poison. Bedshed is the housewarming exhibition for Seventh Galleries new upstairs exhibition space '7UP'. Bedshed is a group show curated by Jessie Bullivant, and will present a diverse suite of works that engage with materials and concepts relating to domesticity. May 5 - 20. [Fitzroy]
Chapel off Chapel presents 'Dogfight'. 'Dogfight' is a poignant, heartwarming story of idealism, unexpected love, and the endearing naivety of early adulthood set against the dramatic background of the Vietnam War. May 5 - 15. [Prahran]
